Obituary

Michele McDougal, age 63, of Woodhaven, Michigan, passed away on October 29, 2026. Born on December 2, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, Michele lived a life marked by kindness, creativity, and a deep love for her family and the world around her.

Michele was a woman of many talents and passions. She had a beautiful free spirit and a smile that could light up any room. A talented artist, she expressed her creativity with grace and warmth. Michele loved the water in all its forms—swimming, fishing, and simply being near it brought her great joy and peace. She enjoyed cooking, often sharing her culinary creations with family and friends, and her generosity knew no bounds.

Her compassionate nature was evident in her willingness to help anyone in need, never passing judgment but always offering support and understanding. Michele had a profound love for animals and cherished her family above all else.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frank and Janet Beven, and her nephew, Anthony. Michele is lovingly survived by her children, John David Beven and Jesse (Chantal) McDougal; her grandchildren, Alexis, Chayla and David; her siblings, Frank (Mary) Beven and Nicole (Frank) LaBeau; nieces and nephews Alana, Tyler, Aaron, Colin, Jacob, and Amanda, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michele’s warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
